Charles Mindenhall, Chairman

Charles is co-founder, with Manoj Badale, of Blenheim Chalcot, an investment group that has created and actively manages a portfolio of fast growth ventures. Charles is Chairman of Agilisys, an IT outsourcing group that evolved from netdecisions, which he co-founded. He also co-founded Fluency (a voice recognition company), Eviivo (a leading travel booking platform), Steeltrace (a software tools business), the Rights Company (a media rights business), and TDX Group (the UK’s leading delinquent debt specialist). Charles is a non-executive director of Emerging Media (part owners of the Indian Premier League team, the Rajasthan Royals), and Corporate Pay, a prepaid credit card provider. Charles is a founding trustee of Operation Smile UK, and the Chairman of the Charity Technology Trust. Charles was formerly at Monitor Company, and is a graduate of the University of Oxford.

David Burnett, Non Executive Director

David is currently a member of the TT International investment and management team. David had spent his career at UBS Warburg and its predecessor companies. He started as an Equity Analyst and went on to hold various roles including, responsibility for the bank’s Russian and South African operations, Head of the Fixed Interest and Treasury Division of SG Warburg and Head of the Japanese Equity business in Tokyo. David gained his MA from Cambridge University and now sits on the board at Copperdime.

Terry Johnston, Non Executive Director

In the late ’80s Terry designed and developed the market leading Personal Equity Plan system, used by numerous major financial institutions, including Fidelity, Norwich Union and Sun Life. During the early ’90s he was Head of Equity Traded Option Technology for Smith New Court. Moving on from Smith New Court in the mid ’90s he designed and developed MarketMaker, the first real-time trading software on the Internet. MarketMaker was used by a number of major banks, including Commerzbank, Societe General, J.P. Morgan and Investec. Terry founded Information Internet to commercialise the software. The company was rated one of the UK’s fastest growing technology companies and was eventually bought by CMC Markets. MarketMaker has been instrumental in helping CMC become a major player in on-line CFD’s, Spread Betting and Foreign Exchange. Terry is co-founder of Copperdime taking retail platform trading to the next generation.

Jonathan Rose, CEO

Jonathan has brought to Copperdime much commercial and operations experience gained from 5 years at Barclays Bank. As the COO of the business team he developed and launched a new functional strategy to the Barclays business with a responsibility of 800 FTE’s in 4 countries. In his role as IT director he was responsible for the delivery of major IT projects and provision of IT services to the bank. Together with his 9 years at Accenture (a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company). Jonathan has proven skills as a builder of larger international teams. Jonathan graduated from Imperial College with a Bachelor of Science in Physics.

Chris Hobcroft, Head of Operations

Chris brings management, delivery and operational experience gained from 5 years of Private Sector Consultancy with Agilisys (IT Consultancy and Outsourced Service Provider). Chris led the consulting engagements and ongoing delivery of outsourced services to some of Agilisys’ larger clients, including AOL, Homeserve and BSkyB. Previous roles have included Tax Accountancy at Arthur Andersen and Product Management for Fluency Voice Technology. Chris graduated from Cambridge University with a MA in Mathematics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science.

Toby Stephens, Head of Development

Toby joined GNI Limited, now part of MF Global UK, in 1995, to redesign and build a deal capture system for the Foreign Exchange and Metals trading desks. The system was a huge success and is still used today. Toby was subsequently head-hunted by a start-up trading software house, before joining Copperdime in 2007 as an integration expert. Initially tasked with building a robust liquidity integration service, he now controls the architectural design of the software and heads up the development pipeline. Toby brings fifteen years of financial sector software development experience to the Copperdime management team. Toby graduated from Sheffield University with a Bachelor of Engineering.
